AAYSP California chapter held its first educational seminar |

On Saturday, November the 14th, AAYSP California chapter held its first educational seminar under the topic of Media and Education.  California chapter was proud to have Mr.Rasheed Alnozili, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of the Yemeni American News and Mr. Mohamed AL-dues, a consultant at the Yemeni American Net, as our guest speakers.
Mr. Al-dues gave a vrey inspiring speech in which he focused on promoting self pride and the importance of being a valuable productive member within the larger community. Mr Alnozili introduced the Yemeni American News to the audience and shared videos summarizing the Yemeni American News progress and history .
Afterwards, the participants in the seminar were engaged in a very exciting and opened discussion. Everyone was excited and minds were fully engaged. Over all it was a great seminar and what made it even better is that we found out the AAYSP members and Yemeni American news have common ground and share many goals and ideas. Gamal Ghanem,an AAYSP member and student majoring in media had a great opportunity to share his work with the audience and our experienced guest. Gamal showed one of his videos.
