The AAYSP, in collaboration with Sana'a University, organized a forum to
focus on the "role of governmental and non-governmental organizations in
promoting education in Yemen." The event, which was held in Sana'a
University campus, attracted a larger number of attendees including H.E. U.S.
Ambassador to Yemen, Ambassador Thomas Krajeski. The the presidents of the
universities of Sana?a, Aden, Taiz, Dhamar, Ibb, and Hodeidah, and many
academicians and students at the University of Sana?a were also present to
commemorate AAYP?s donation of over 8,000 textbooks and 12,000 journals in the
fields of chemistry, medicine, and computer science.

The AAYSP has done it again!
Two years of work and efforts have led us to buidling an impressive partnership with the American Chemical Society and securing the largest shipment of scientific books sent to Yemen yet. The shipment, worth more than $700,000 has left U.S. shores about 10 days ago and is scheduled to arrive in Yemen by the end of October. More information will follow... |
